Gorana

Na radionici ćete imati priliku naučiti osnovne pokrete s poijem i povezati ih u kratku plesnu kombinaciju, te vidjeti kako se poi može koristiti u orijentalnoj plesnoj tehnici. Min.3 polaznika.

Gorana se plesom počela baviti 2004. godine, kada se upisala na tečaj orijentalnog plesa u školi „Zuzana“. Tamo se usmjerava na ples s rekvizitima, te se na kraju opredjeljuje za poi. Ples s poijem potječe od Maora, a u doslovnom prijevodu znači lopta na uzici. U današnje vrijeme populariziran je kroz ples s vatrom, a umjesto vatre mogu se koristiti i svjetla, velovi i zastave.

Gorana started dancing in 2004, when signed up for oriental dance classes at dance studio Zuzana. She focused mainly on props, and finally opted for poi. Poi dancing originates from the Maori people, and literally means ball on a string. It gained popularity through the art of fire dancing, but can also be used with lights, veils and flags.
Tonight we will see a LED poi dance, Lights and shadows.

Sljedeća instruktorica našeg festivala umjetnica je koja, iznad svega, u svemu što radi i u svim plesovima koje pleše, ističe važnost emocija. Njena emotivna karizma toliko je jaka da će vas ponijeti u neki drugi i topliji svijet. Dozvolite da vas Katarina ovaj put uvede u svijet bollywoda!

Selam! Bollywood je plesni stil koji objedinjuje elemente klasicnih indijskih plesova i ostalih vrsta plesa, poput : orijentalnog plesa, hip hopa, latinoamerickih plesova i dr. Na ovoj radionici cemo se upoznati opcenito o indijskoj kulturi, te raditi koreografiju prilagodenu i za one koji nikada nisu plesali bollywood!

Salaam! Bollywood is a dance style that combines elements of classical Indian dances and other forms of dance such as oriental, hip-hop, Latin American dances…

In this workshop we will learn about the Indian culture in general and do choreography adapted for those who have never danced bollywood!

KATARINA MARKOV plesacica je koja dolazi iz Zagreba, a orijentalnim plesom bavi se od svoje 16 godine. Zapocela je u plesnom studiu Nefertiti kod Aide Jakus gdje se i prvi put susrela s romskim stilom Roman Havasi. Bila je clanica plesne skupine. Posljednje skoro 4 godine bila je clanica plesne skole Ritam Plesa kod Nikoline Stepic i clanica njene skupine Meral. Sudjelovala je u brojnim nastupima, festivalima i natjecanjima. Roman Havasi stil ucila je kod Aide Jakus i na radionici poznatog turskog plesaca Ozgena Ozgeca te na radionicama kod Paole Blanton.Unutar plesne skole Ritam plesa pocinje samostalno voditi svoju grupu Romani chaj (romska djevojka) s kojom sudjeluje na nastupima i festivalima. Pleše i Bollywood stil kod Gayatri Mondal s kojom je bila na brojnim nastupima, grupnim i solističkim.
Kao plesacica je posebna jer uvijek prvo istice emocije dok plese, a tek potom tehniku. Voli prenositi ljubav za ples na publiku i svoje ucenice.

Katarina is a dancer from Zagreb and is dancing oriental dance since she was sixteen. She started at dance studio Nefertiti under the leadership of Aida Jakus where she learns and first meets Roma style Roman Havasi. Also, she was a member of Nefertiti dance group. For the last four years she was a memeber of a dance gropu Meral in a school of Nina Stepic. Katarina participated in numerous performances, festivals and competitions. Roman Havasi style Katarina learns from Aida jakus and at workshops of the famous turkish dancer Ozgen Ozgec and Paola Blanton as well.. Within the school of Nina Stepic she begins to lead her own group Romani chaj( Roma girl) and starts to perform at festivals.
She dances Bollywood, first as a student of Gayatri Mondal and after as a solo performer.
Katarina is a very special kind of a dancer because of her huge emotions on the scene that she puts in front of tehnique. She likes to transmit her love for dance to audinece and her students.

Dopustite da vas fantastična Mateja i njena ogromna plesna energija uvedu u svijet salse oriental, kubanske duše, a sve začinjeno reggaetonom. Kako naša MATEJA MIKULAN kaže, dođite i “SALS IT UP!”

Mateja is a dancer, teacher, choreographer and belly dance events organiser, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She began her oriental trip over a decade ago as a hobby and since than her hobby grew into profession and today she is teaching regular classes all over Slovenia and workshops home and abroad. More than a performer she sees herself as a teacher with good theoretical background and loads of practical knowledge and an innovative choreorapher, whose choreographies have won awards in Europe. She combines traditional with modern and has a great ear for music. Her approach to teaching is not only giving choreographies but also focusing on the history, cultural background and loads of theoretical data.

Besides performing and teaching, she organises different belly dance events, among them Nawar festival, the only festival of its kind in Slovenia. She organised over 20 dance haflas, weekend workshops with different teachers, different bellydance evenings with her students, charity events, annual student shows and was a part of organisational team at SHRQ Symposium, organised by Shereen in 2014.

She is very thankful to her teachers for pushing her forward and giving her the opportunity to learn from them. Among the most influential are Khaled Mahmoud, Osama Emam, Lubna Emam, Tito, Mercedes Nieto, Yamil Annum and Sandy D’Ali. For the past few years she is lucky to call Maria Aya and Shereen as her teachers, who helped a lot in her dance career and with whom she works the most.

Mateja is an artist in many ways, along being a dancer, she has her own jewellery line Matya, makes her own costumes and is a certified make-up artist.

„POWER OF THE TWO!“

Radionica je namijenjena svima sa srednjim i naprednim znanjem ATS-a®.  Bavit ćemo se jednom od formacija: duetom! Bilo da je riječ o sporom ili brzom ATS-u®, snaga dueta nikoga ne ostavlja ravnodušnim.

Poznate pokrete primjenit ćemo u duetima te im udahnuti novu dimenziju dinamike i uzbudljivosti. Kako pokrete sporog vokabulara učiniti dinamičnijima, a pokrete brzog vokabulara dojmljivijima? Kako postići onaj Wow! faktor? Odgovor je jednostava:“Power of the Two!“.

Potrebno predznanje: 5 osnovnih pokreta iz brzog vokabulara: ¾ Shimmy, Arabic, Taxeem, Basic Egyptian (Half turn i Triple), Pivot Bump (Choo-choo); pokreti iz sporog vokabulara: Wrap Around, Barrell Turn, Camel, Reverse Turn, Propeller Turn; Calibrated Spins (iz Basic Egyptian pokreta).

“POWER OF THE TWO!”

The workshop is intended for those with intermediate and advanced knowledge of ATS®. We will address one of the formations: duet! Whether it is a slow or fast ATS®, power of the duet leaves no one indifferent.

Known moves we will apply in duets and give them a new dimension of dynamism and excitement. How to make slow movement vocabulary more dynamic and fast movement vocabulary even more impressive? How to achieve that Wow! factor? The answer is also simple: “Power of the Two”.

Prerequisites: 5 basic movements of rapid vocabulary: ¾ Shimmy, Arabic, taxes, Egyptian Basic (Half turn and Triple), Pivot Bump (Choo-Choo); movements from slow vocabulary: Wrap Around, Barrel Turn, Camel, Reverse Turn, Turn Propeller; Calibrated Spins (from Basic Egyptian movement).

Petra je od malih nogu dio kazališta i scenske umjetnosti. Deset godina provela je kao članica amaterske glumačke skupine u Zagrebačkom kazalištu mladih pod vodstvom velike kazališne redateljice i pedagoginje Zvjezdane Ladike.

2007. pohađa sate klasičnog orijentalnog plesa u školi trbušnog plesa Zuzane Uhlirove gdje usvaja osnove egipatskog stila i upoznaje se s folklornim stilovima orijentalnog svijeta.

2010. upisuje tečaj tribal fusion trbušnog plesa u studiju “Pokret zvuka” pod vodstvom Ive Jurišić.

2013. traži mjesto gdje može izučiti plesni stil American tribal style te se tako upisuje u plesnu školu “Bastet Orijentalni Ples” pod vodstvom fenomenalne Tee Gavranović.

2014.postaje suvoditeljica i sudjeluje na brojnim plesnim produkcijama, domaćim i inozemnim festivalima, a osvaja i nagrade sa svojim plesnim kolegicama iz škole Bastet.

2015. odlučuje se osamostaliti i otvara vlastiti plesni studio “Alapadma”. Izlazak iz matične škole predstavlja stepenicu dalje prema novim plesnim izazovima i ostvarenjima.

Petra is from an early age part of a theater and performing arts. Ten years she spent as a member of the amateur acting group in Zagreb Youth Theatre under the guidance of the great theater director and pedagogue Zvjezdana Ladika.

In 2007 she starts attending a Classical oriental dance school of belly dance Zuzana Uhlirova where she adopts the basics of Egyptian style and meets with folk styles of Oriental world.

In 2010 Petra attends a course of Tribal fusion in a dance studio “Pokret Zvuka” led by Ivo Jurišić.

In 2013, seeking a place where she could study dance style American tribal style®, she takes course in dance school “Bastet Oriental Dance” led by phenomenal Tea Gavranović.

In 2014 Petra becomes a co-teacher in Bastet and participates in numerous dance productions, national and international festivals, and winning the awards with her dance colleagues from school Bastet.

In 2015 she decided to become independent and opens her own dance studio “Alapadma”. Starting her own dance studio represents a step further towards the new dance challenges and achievements.

Suvremeni oriental

Ana Jug

Suvremeni ples oslobađa, orijentalni ples zanosi, rezultat fuzije oba jest intencionalna ljepota. Budite dio ove plesne priče i dozvolite da vas naša čarobna Ana odvede na put unutar vas samih 🙂

Ples je iskustvo koje čovjek ne može zatomiti, a prisutan je u svim vremenima, kulturama i okolnostima. Istu težnju za izražavanjem nosi i profesionalni i amaterski plesač što je želja za umjetničkim ispunjenjem i zanosom.
Suvremeni ples je ples istraživanja plesača u odnosu ne samo na unutarnju domenu osjećaja već i vanjska manifestacija istog. Nastao kao bunt u na ustaljene obrazce dotadašnjeg klasičnog baletnog prikaza, a pionirke poput Isadore Duncan, Marthe Graham itd, težile su prirodnosti, lakoći te traženju novog obrasca plesanja. U plesu se mora vidjeti plesač, a ne samo virtuoznost plesa, akrobacije ili puka gimnastika.

U skladu s tom pretpostavkom krećemo na put unutar sebe na radionici suvremenog orijentalnog plesa; dakle biti će to traženje i iskazivanje nove forme našeg unutarnjeg diktata. Učit ćemo pokrete moderne ženstvenosti, novog vala koji je konačno započeo da bi sublimirao ovaj gnjevan svijet. Isto ćemo uobličit u jednostavnu koreografiju, te ćemo vježbati improvizaciju, kao krunu plesa. Razlika između klasičnog, točno određenog, decidiranog orijentalnog plesa i suvremenog orientala jest ta da se dopušta veća sloboda u pokretu, iako je kontrola neizostavna ona se ne zadržava samo na izolacijama pojedinog dijela tijela. Skokovi, padovi, ples na plohi (podu), okreti, pravilne pozicije ruku, nogu, stopla, dlanova, postava tijela samo su neke stavke kojima ćemo se baviti. A tek onda malo prekopati po prašnjavim policama svoje nutrine i iskazati što to u sebi nosimo.

Ana Jug (Ana Apsaradha) rođena je u Zagrebu gdje od predškolske dobi pleše ritmiku i suvremeni ples. Nakon fakulteta filozofije odlazi u Indiju izučavati Indijske plesove. Kao profesionalna plesačica otvara školu plesa 2005. kroz koju su do danas radosno proplesale mnogobrojne Apsaradhe. Zajednički su ostvarile sveukupno pet uspješnih plesnih predstava u koreografiji dotične.Živi i diše za ples i svoja dva mala sinčića.

Ana Jug (Ana Apsaradhe) was born in Zagreb and since early age she dances rhythm and contemporary dance. After faculty of philosophy she goes to India to study Indian dance.
As a prpffesional dancer she opens dance school that created many new Apsaradhe dancers. Tohether, they achieved a five succesful dance performances.

Ana likes to say that she lives and breathes dance and lives for her two little sons.
