Serkan currently lives in Belgium, where he is renown for both his Middle Eastern dance instruction and performances. 

He is International award winning bellydancer & teacher; “Male Bellydancer of the world  2008” and winner of  “Brandon Oasis 2006”. Also he is organizer of Rakkas Istanbul International Oriental Dance Festival.

His teaching methods are clear and concise, delivered with kindness in a supportive environment.

Students from across Belgium and around the world seek him out as a dance instructor and mentor.  Whether you are a new dancer looking for weekly classes or an experienced dancer looking for a specialized workshop, Serkan’s mastery of Middle Eastern dance and Turkish style Bellydance & Turkish Romani dance will help you achieve your goals.

He has performed and instructed workshops all over Belgium, Hong Kong, Singapore, Israel, Germany, France, Egypt, England, Austria, Turkey, Italy, Greece , Holland , Czech Republic,Croatia, Sweden, Switzerland, Bosnia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, Russia, USA, Alaska and many more.

He is teaching Turkish style bellydance, Modern Egyptian style, Baladi, Saidi, Shaabi, Turkish Gypsy style, Veil dance (double and single).

His signature is  “Crazy drum solo’s”, and many more dance styles.

Serkan’s busy schedule takes him around the world for performances and workshop instruction.

Very proud to announce is that OFS Festival is bringing Serkan once again on Zagreb oriental stage; this year we are having two workshops with this wonderful teacher: Cheeky baladi and Roman havasi.
